Kud is 106 kms from Jammu, this popular resort is located on the Jammu-Srinagar highway, at an altitude of 1738 metres. The perfect picnic spot this place has a bracing climate. Kud can be found at 33.08°N 75.28°E. It offers the normal elevation of 1855 metres (6085 feet).It’s a the main Lower Himalayan Range. the river Chenab flows in close proximity.
